GUYS I TOLD YOU I WOULD GIVE YOU THE HEADS UP; HERE'S ONE
CURTIS RUSH TORONTO STAR STAFF REPORTER
After facing numerous disruptions already this year, GO Transit commuters could face another if conductors walk off the job in less than two weeks.
Members of the United Transportation Union will be in a legal strike position at one minute before midnight on Feb. 9.
“I quite frankly think we will be on strike,” union spokesperson Rex Beatty said. “I’m not very optimistic.”
He said he believes it would be a long strike and have a major impact on the CN rail network.
“This would affect service,” said GO spokesperson Stephanie Sorensen, who wasn’t sure to what extent service would be hit. “We need them to operate the trains.”
CN employs 3,000 conductors across the country and 109 of them are assigned to
GO trains.
The conductors’ union was trying to prepare an offer for CN this week in which the conductors would keep the GO trains running during a strike.
See the train crews still care about the passengers, its just the image that is projected onto us.
Believe us when we tell you we're not the bad guys.

I believe the train crews care about the patrons and if you guys/gals need to strike, the go on strike. No trade union really wants to strike so if your membership confirms a vote towards a labour strike, then there are some serious issues that require resolution. I will be honking my horn in your support!!!!!!!! And I will bite any GO patron who tries to bad mouth you on my watch :)
LISA. THANK YOU!!!! That is some of the nicest things I heard latley,For those who think this is a joke you don't want to bump into me... I'm not laughing.
