Two shindigs to schedule, hepcats:
1. You know what I'm talking about... ! It's the 4th Annual GO HoHo Event! Let's fix a date, confirm our numbers... and then we'll reserve a venue.
Ok - here are your possible dates: Friday, November 30/ Thursday, December 13/ Friday, December 14
Vote for a date in Comments. Make a venue suggestion if you like... I'll start us off with The Sultan's Tent on Front St.

2. The second absolutely critical holiday event we have to pin down is our rolling cookiefest. I vote for Wednesday, December 12! People are welcome, nay, encouraged, to bring test samples anytime between now and then ;-)
Who's invited? Top guns and spareboard guys, conductors and brakemen from years past, commuter alumni....the more, the merrier.

1) I can make both Friday Nov 30th and Friday Dec 14th but I PREFER Dec 14th (lots of parties already scheduled Dec 1st weekend; concerned about how my liver will cope). I do not want a Thursday and I doubt any GO staffers will attend if we do Thursday evening because they have such an early morning wake up call.
Sultan's Tent is good venue to me but I don't care either way as long as there is beer to be had. I think we may have difficulty making reservation for that venue though...Perhaps we need a back up plan. Did you tell they guys they have BELLY DANCERS?!
2) I am good for the Cookie Exchange Wed Dec 12th.
Either Friday works well for me. Thursday not so much, I can't enjoy the booze if I have to get up early for work the next day. Defeats the purpose, no? The Sultan sounds interesting. Do the patrons belly dance as well? Could make for a very interesting evening.
Sign me up for the cookie exchange on the 12th.
