Christy's Law: Chocolate as Catalyst

The amount of chocolate one consumes in a morning is directly proportional to the amount of chocolate one has purchased at Lindt's the day before.

Corollary to Christy's Law: Happily, the amount of chocolate one consumes in a morning seems also to be in direct proportion to the number of coherent words one can string together on a page.

(and in a future edition: Christy's Law of Expansion and Stress Relief whereby the increase in one's jean size is shown to be in direct proportion to the length of one's thesis)
